Mommy, Are We Poor?

Working Girl meets the #MeToo movement

Chelsea is a single mom with two jobs, two kids, a married boss trying to get into her pants, and a deadbeat ex who can’t manage to pay child support.  She’s applied for a promotion at work, but after an eviction notice, credit card lawsuit, car repossession scare, and Christmas approaching with no money for presents, she’s in a 100 foot deep financial hole, with a 50 foot ladder. Will she get the promotion? Will she file bankruptcy and get a fresh start, and risk her reputation, or will she accept money for sexual favors and become her boss’s mistress, which will allow her to remain financially stable, but emotionally insolvent. Or will she sue for sexual harassment and risk being fired, or simply remain quiet and do nothing?
